This magazine is12" tall X 10.5" wide, cover photo dimensions are 10.75 x 10.25 so with a humble 6MP D70s I had to upsize – 110% Bicubic Smoother, 3 times.

I tweaked contrast and saturation a bit to give it that inky-oily quality I prefer with shots like this.

Sconces are a little blown but overall, I’m happy with this (basically a primary color-ish RGB shot) and the publisher wrote me that "..she hasn’t been this excited about a cover shot for a long time.."

A little too much sky but this place is 16,000 sq ft wide man – there’s another giant 24′ high 2000 sq ft entry-way building you drive through and guest house to the right – attached as well – that looks over an interior auto courtyard housing a massive 6 bay garage, probably big enough for 10-12 cars
